Ballast waters ... a risk for the ecosystem, human health and economy


By definition the ballast water is important quantity of water used in reason to make a balance in the huge ships, this water are taken from the departure port to be rejected in the arrival ports somewhere in the world, this water was full of heavy metals, toxic compos , organic suspended matter, different degree of salinity, minerals dissolute in water  and other species such as the zooplankton and phytoplankton. 


In the first stage this transportation are affected the local aquatic biodiversity by changing the physical and chemical parameters in water, the strangers species could attack the local ones or (disappearance), the excising species could have a (strong or weak) genetic mutation due mating patterns with two different kinds.
Secondly this changes impact directly the human health because the exploring fishes are toxic and the economy when aquatic ecosystem are affected. Some species are disappearance.
